Pierre Brits – Course Director

Pierre started diving as a young adult and saw an opportunity to pursue his dreams. This put him on a journey which began with him building a dive centre against all odds and NAY sayers the dive centre was finalized and registered as a Padi centre, the first of its kind in the region. From there Pierre built the business into a very successful and lucrative operation, running courses from entry level to Dive Master level.

The centre grew quickly producing in house instructors and Dive Masters & becoming the premier centre and dive operation in the region. The dive centre took groups all over Africa diving the premier destinations, with a huge social component which added a fun element to the centre. Years later Pierre immigrated to Australia and continued the Dive Den legacy.

The Dive Den brand soon got momentum and Pierre found his feet in the SE QLD region creating and developing a following of awesome divers/friends fun loving people. Pierre’s experience in running and managing a dive centre has served him well in QLD. His enthusiasm can clearly be seen and heard when talking to him about diving and sharing his love for the water, the oceans and teaching.

He willingly shares his wealth of knowledge of scuba with the people who learn from him. He is an inclusive individual who maintains a neutral point of view in the industry. Pierre Speaks English and Afrikaans and can teach in both languages
