airplanes and even cars are fascinating to explore and usually teem with aquatic life. Each wreck dive offers a chance for discovery, potentially unlocking a

mystery or spying something others have missed. The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course is popular because it offers rewarding adventures while observing responsible wreck diving practices.

Dive Den frequent the EX HMAS-Brisbane off the coast of Mooloolaba which is arguably one of the best wrecks on the eastern seaboard of Australia.

What’s Involved?

Four boat dives over two days, online theory, and review.

  • Techniques for diving in and around wrecks
  • Learn to map and penetrate a wreck safely using the correct equipment
  • Wreck diving equipment considerations
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and making at least four dives under the supervision of your PADI Instructor

Who Can Do It?

Be a minimum age of fifteen (15) with parental consent
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent rating

How Long Does It Take?

Over 1 Weekend – 4 Open water Dives – boat dives (credits are given if a wreck dive was conducted when completing advanced open water)
